How to create a Host Family Applicant or Start a Host Family Application

To start a Host Family Application for a brand new Host Family, click the "New+" button and navigate to Host Family -> Applicant. This is the most direct method to initiate the application process for a host family.

Alternatively, initiating a Host Family Application can also be done via the Host Families -> Applicants section from the menu, and then clicking New HF Applicant from the top right.

To start a Host Family Application for a returning family, or an existing Host Family Lead, navigate to the HFs profile and hit the Actions button -> Send Application

When initiating a host family application, be prepared to input the primary host parent's essential details, including how the family was discovered.

Additionally, you'll need to select the "Owner of the HF," which refers to the team member responsible for the host family. Team members who create an application while working in the field will automatically be designated as the HF Owner.
